A sociologist and economic historian, Aaron Benanav is Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology at the Autonomous Systems Policy Institute and Affiliate Faculty at the Department of History, Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs. His first book, Automation and the Future of Work, appeared with Verso in 2020. His writing has appeared in the New Statesman, Nation, Dissent, Guardian, Boston Review and New Left Review, as well as in the Journal of Global History and Social Science History.
